Shanthi

Dentist (BDS MFDS RCPS – GDC no 100850)
Shanthi graduated from Chennai University in 1996 and moved to the UK in 1998. With over 20 years of experience, she holds an MFDS RCPS and has worked in Hull & East Yorkshire’s Oral & Maxillofacial Department.

Shanthi completed her three-year Implantology course at the Royal College from 2006-2009 and possesses a postgraduate certificate in restorative dentistry, ensuring her patients receive the most advanced and scientifically supported dental care.

Angie

RDN( Reg Dental Nurse) – GDC no -161660
Angie has been a dedicated dental nurse since 1988, earning her National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1990. She has been a valued team member for 16 years, celebrating 30 years in the profession in 2018 with the same enthusiasm and charm as when she started.

Known for remembering every patient by name, Angie also leads our cross-infection control and audits, working alongside Claire (hygienist) to ensure top-quality care.

Claire

Hygienist (Diploma in Dental Hygiene TAQA Assessors Award GDC no – 3738)
Claire, our dental hygienist, began her career in 1989 with the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps before joining the Royal Army Dental Corps. She served 12 years in dental centres and military hospitals in the UK and overseas.

Claire worked in NHS and private practices and as a dental nurse assessor in further education. Her extensive experience and reassuring smile comfort nervous patients, greatly enhancing their oral health.

Lorna

Dental Nurse (RDN – GDC no -268342)
Lorna plays a vital role in our practice, primarily assisting Shanthi in surgery and leading our radiography department. Her expertise ensures precision and safety in all our imaging procedures.

Outside the office, Lorna leads a bustling life, devoting much of her time to her two dogs and her daughters. Her commitment to both her professional and personal life enriches our team and contributes to a warm, family-friendly atmosphere at the practice.
